Preparation time: 10 minutes

Serves: 6
1 litre milk
4 tbsp rice soaked in 1/2 cup warm milk
4 to 6 tbsp sugar or as per taste
1 orange peeled

  1.  Grind the rice to a coarse paste.
  2.  Bring milk to a boil. Add rice paste.
  3. Cook till rice is completely cooked, stirring constantly.
  4. Add sugar and cook till sugar is completely dissolved. 
  5. Pour into a bowl and chill in a refrigerator for an hour.
  6. Add chopped orange segments after removing seeds and skin to the cool phirni ,garnish with some slices of  orange.
